48 Hours Of KY

June 11-14, 2026

KEntucky

48 hours of kentucky

Round 2 of the 2026 Terra Trophy season heads to the hills of beautiful Kentucky. This round features a full 48 hour rally across the most iconic areas of the state.

The Kentucky 48 hour will start and finish at the Appalachian Overland Triangle (AOT) property. From here teams will venture out into some of the hardest parks and trails in the area. From parks like Leatherwood and Hollerwood Offroad Parks to epic trails like the KAT and DBBB, this route will cover it all.

Unlike round 1, this rally is a true 48 hour rally with no return from day 1. This means teams in all classes will be sleeping in the woods on the trails. Teams will be allowed 15 hours per day to rally and only the best will make it across the line 48 hours of less later.

Prerunners will be joining the fun again at round 2 short course laps. This will be a full 2 days of blasting the the beautiful AOT park of Kentucky.

Back at camp you will find vendors, food, cold drinks, and a good time around the campfire at night.

The parkS

Kentucky

Settled in the hills of Kentucky, Appalachian Overland Triangle (AOT) is the hub for all things offroad. Perfectly located in the heart of KY offroad country, this park makes for the perfect location to base the rally out of.  This offers teams a great location to drop tow rigs and setup a home base if things go south. Alongside the amazing property, the prerunners will get to enjoy the awesome short course located right near the camping area.

Leatherwood Offroad Park is known as one of the harder parks in the state. Home of the 2026 Ultra4 Racing finals, this offroad park offers a little bit of everything for all levels of rigs. Drivers can expect to spend a ton of time working through technical obstacles and maybe pulling winch a time or two.

Hollerwood Offroad Park is a well known offroad destination near the DBBB route. From tight and technical trails to long river runs, this park delivers. All classes will work hard to navigate this park and keep from loosing mirrors and tail lights.

The DBBB and KAT routes in Kentucky are some of the best overland and offroad routes in the country. These trails snake through the amazing mountains of KY and are not short of wild obstacles. These are not your typical forest roads and with any amount of rain, can become nearly impassable.

PRE-EVENT

Appalachian Overland Triangle, KY

The pre-event for the 48 Hour will be at the AOT property where the start and finish location will be. We will be hanging out in the barn with free food and drinks for all drivers, navigators, and staff. We will have music going and have some of the rally vehicles on display. This will be the location for the mandatory driver's meeting so do not forget to attend!

THE RALLY

Kentucky

The 48 Hours of Kentucky is the second longest rally of the 2026 series. Starting at 9:00AM, teams will leave the line and head onto the route. Routes will be setup for each class and cover all of the same locations. Teams will have 48 hours of open finish line to complete the full route and return before the finish closes. The route will be a combination of hard technical rocks, deep mud, and deep wash outs. The routes will cover offroad parks and some of the best local trails on public lands on the eastern side of the US. Only the best teams will cover the full route and return in 48 hours.
